This week is National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week, but today the Richmond SPCA is showing our appreciation instead to those of you who have gone to vote. Anyone wearing an “I Voted” sticker will receive a special one-day only discount of 10 percent off the adoption fee. In the spirit of the Executive Office, we are also offering the same 10 percent discount on the adoption of any pet sharing a name with a president or first lady – whether past or potential.
